NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On-Site Sewage Facility Homeowner Maintenance Prohibition

Notice is hereby given that the United Board of Health of the Galveston County Health District will conduct a public hearing on February 23, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Board Room at the Galveston County Health District located at 1207 Oaks Street, La Marque, Texas for the purpose of the first reading of the adoption of an amendment to the Order of the Galveston County Health District Adopting Rules for On-Site Sewage Facilities. The amendment would allow homeowner's to maintain their own aerobic on-site sewage treatment unit. Homeowners would be required to attend a state approved training course and submit maintenance reports to the Galveston County Health District.
