Animal Shelter Closed for Holiday
For Immediate Release

Galveston County and Cities – The Joe Vickery Galveston County Animal Shelter located at 3412 Loop 197 North in Texas City will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday, November 25th through Monday, November 29th. Normal shelter operations will resume Tuesday the 30th at 12 noon. While closed local law enforcement should be contacted for bite reports and assistance.
