GALVESTON — Two men were taken to
Houston via Life Flight on Sunday afternoon after falling from the roof of a
two-story house onto the concrete floor.
Both men sustained major facial trauma but were conscious when paramedics
arrived. Neither remembered the incident, and one man complained of back pain.
Due to the nature of the fall, two Life Flight helicopters met paramedics at the
2200 block of Sixth Street North and transported the men to Memorial Hermann
Hospital, said Galveston County Health District spokesman Kurt Koopman. Both men
are said to be in stable condition.
Both men, believed to have been in their 20s, were repairing the roof at the
time of the fall.
