Program offers free
childhood immunizations

League City - Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM)
is offering free childhood immunizations Thursday. This will be the only day
that shots will be offered at ICM before the start of the new school year.
Children from Harris, Galveston or Brazoria counties are eligible to participate
in this program.
This program is being funded by the Space Center Rotary
Club through a Blane Grant they were awarded specifically for immunizations.
The immunizations will be administered through the
Galveston County Health District, which will give shots from 9 a.m. to noon.
Parents can register their children as early as 8:30 a.m. Registration will end
at 11:30 a.m. Shots will be given at the Interfaith Caring Ministries
administration office at 631 FM 270 in League City. Parents are required to
bring their child’s shot record in order to receive these services.
