Whiskerville Donates to Animal Shelter

La Marque – Ronnie Schultz of the Galveston County Health District is shown receiving a donated microchip scanner from Erica Yates,  a volunteer with the Whiskerville Animal Sanctuary in Texas City. The scanner will be used at the district’s Joe Vickery Animal Shelter to detect animals with implanted microchips in an effort to reunite lost pets with their owners.
