Animals Benefit from Pizza and Paint

La Marque – There will be a “Pizza and Paint Party” at the Galveston County Animal Shelter, Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 12 noon – 4 p.m. The shelter is located at 3412 Loop 197 North in Texas City. The party is being sponsored by the Friends of the Galveston County Animal Shelter and other community volunteers.

Local donors have donated paint, paintbrushes and rollers that volunteers will be using to spruce up the shelter. The shelter welcomes additional volunteers and donations of white semi-gloss paint and brushes. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter.
