The Galveston County Health District recognizes
National Food Safety Education Month as a great
opportunity to educate the public about the importance
of practicing food safety.
The Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) and its
Federal partners—the Food and Drug Administration (FDA),
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and
the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the U.S.
Department of Agriculture (USDA)—have provided a
compilation of consumer food safety education resources.
These resources are in both English and Spanish and are
user friendly. Please
