Galveston County Blackboard Connect (BC) is a web based portal that distributes health related alerts/advisories via email, cell phone, or pager to key contacts throughout the state. Examples of Health Alerts/Advisories are: information about disease outbreaks, public health diagnosis, treatment guidelines, etc.
The BC is a part of the Galveston County network for county, state and national communications of public health significance.
Galveston County Health District encourages physicians, nurses, infection control personnel and other healthcare professionals to participate in the BC in order to receive up to date health information related to your discipline and jurisdiction.
