Promotion Opportunities
The Galveston EMS has advancement opportunities for its paramedic level personnel. These include Sr. Paramedic, Team Captain, Sr. Team Captain, and Supervisor.

Hourly Wages and Benefits
Hourly wages are based on the type of certification/license held by the applicant. Full-time employees receive benefits as described in the Galveston County Health District’s Human Resource Benefits Section. Benefits include medical, dental, paid time off, prescription card, continuing education, fitness club membership, and an annuity plan.
