Sexually Oriented Businesses (SOB's) in the unincorporated areas of Galveston County are permitted and inspected by the Consumer Health Division.

The regulations for a Sexually Oriented Business require special supervision in order to protect and preserve the health, safety, and welfare of the patrons as well as the citizens of Galveston County.
