The members of the Advisory Councils are made up from community partners and stakeholders of Galveston County, that will be participating and assisting the Health District in achieving measurable improvements in the health of Galveston County residents, as identified in the Strategic Health Plan by the year 2010.

In recognizing  the need for the support of the entire community in taking positive steps towards improving the health of our community, we have set up the following advisory councils.
