Who Do We Serve

Our mission is to provide access to high-quality primary care to any Galveston County resident.

Whether you're insured, uninsured or under-insured, we're here to help. 

Insurance Accepted

We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most major medical, dental and immunization insurance plans.

Some of the plans we accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, United HealthCare, Texas Children’s Health Plan, Delta Dental, Guardian Dental, Cigna Texas Health Spring, Community Health Choice, TML, WellCare,and many more. Insurance is an important part of your health care. We have a team dedicated to help you understand your coverage. It's important to bring your insurance card to all appointments. We constantly strive to add new insurance plans

Uninsured Programs

Discounted health services for the indigent and uninsured up to 200% Federal Poverty Rate - if you are uninsured or if the Coastal Health & Wellness care you need is not covered by your health plan and your income is less than 200% of the federal poverty rate, you may be eligible for discounted services at Coastal Health & Wellness. The attached federal poverty scale outlines income limits by family size. To be considered for this program, you complete an Application for Discounted Services/Aplicación de Servicios de Descuento and you must be financially screened by Patient Services Staff in the clinics. For information on what documents to bring to the clinic for financial screening see the Discounted Services Application Requirements (English) / (Spanish). Discounts are provided as part of the Coastal Health & Wellness federal grant.

Title V Program for Uninsured Children in households below 185%

If your child is 0 – 21 years of age and not eligible for Medicaid, he/she may be eligible for the Title V program which pays for the cost of well and sick child visits and certain dental services. Upon financial screening of your household, a determination can be made. Remember to bring all the documents needed for financial screening. Women's Health Program

If eligible, this program pays for an annual family planning exam and certain birth control pharmaceuticals. For more information on eligibility and requirements, see attached flyer.
