4C's Governing Board member Dr. Barbara Thompson was
recently named the Secretary-Treasurer of the Galveston County Medical Society.
Dr. Thompson is Professor and Chair of UTMB's Family Medicine Department.

Vice Chairperson Dr. Ben Raimer has been named 2007 Galvestonian of the Year
by the Galveston Chamber of Commerce. According to Gina Spagnola,
President of the Chamber Dr. Raimer “has a head for business, and a heart
for children. His honesty, integrity, generosity, passion and his ability
to lead has had a significant impact on our Chamber and this entire
community for many, many years.”
