The Health District's United Board of Health approved the following fees to be collected
by Animal Services for services provided.
Fees are effective June1, 2006
Type of Fee

* Adoption $85.00
  Impoundment
First Time $35.00 + Daily Board

If your animal is impounded more than once in a 12 month period,
the following fees will apply
Second Time $50.00 + Daily Board
Third Time $75.00 + Daily Board
  Boarding (once impounded)
Daily Board $10.00
Quarantine Impound $140.00 flat fee - up to 10 days
** Galveston County Animal License (Annual)
Spayed/Neutered (Altered) $10.00
Non- Spayed/Neutered (Unaltered) $20.00
   Other Type Fees
Head - to - Lab (Rabies suspect) $140.00
Euthanasia $35.00
Owner Surrender (suggested donation) $25.00
Large Animal Trap Deposit $300.00
Small Animal Trap Deposit $50.00
 
* Spay/Neuter, Rabies vaccination and microchip insertion is included.
** Texas City offers a $10.00 lifetime license and not subject to GCHD fee adjustments.
