food, to include aspects of wastewater management,
enforcement, bacterial contamination, animal control
violations, toxic substances monitoring, and conservation

- Track and monitor program and financial review
findings and corrective actions taken.

resources needed for future environmental needs and services. |
| Activities: |
- Review changing demographics and how they might
affect future and current environmental needs, determine
problems that will arise from such, evaluate resources
needed to meet needs and work with local officials/business
associates to develop funding.
- Explore public and private funding resources.
- Develop rational funding formulas for services
provided.
- Explore opportunities to engage volunteers in all
environmental operations as legal and feasible.

- Address issues and common environmental concerns
such as mold, ozone, etc.
- Educate the public about the restaurant inspection
process and scoring.

- Disseminate a monthly report of services provided.
- Provide periodic presentations to political jurisdictions

| Objective One: Annual forum
for Health District environmental related issues, and
animal services, to include: veterinary associations,
other animal shelters, city officials who also provide
animal related services, local restaurant associations,
plant managers, Environmental Managers Round Table,
Chambers of Commerce, and the Community Advisory Panel
to address current problems and receive feedback.

collaboration between Health District staff and their
counterparts in local political jurisdictions for routine
and emergency communications. |

- Identify city contacts to put into the Health Alert
Network.
- Develop city distribution lists to share information
by e-mail.
- Establish routine meetings to discuss common issues.

consistency in inspection and enforcement procedures.

- Develop standard operating procedures for inspectors.
- Train inspectors on standing operating procedures.
